Avant Garden Plum Olive

A break from the Mediterranean Moments samples today to showcase one of the Sale-A-Bration products you can get FREE with a qualifying order (for each $90 you spend, you get a free item of your choice from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue).

I have used the latest Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge as the perfect way to highlight the beautiful flower image in the Avant Garden stamp set.

Here is the sketch …

Tips:

  • Stamp the image three times with Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White cardstock.
  • Colour the image with Old Olive and Perfect Plum inks and an Aqua Painter.
  • Add some ‘splatters’ by stamping off Smoky Slate ink.
  • Use the Clear Wink of Stella for lots of sparkle.
  • Cut out the art panel with a scallop edged Layering Circles Framelits.
  • Cut out a larger circle using Silver Foil to layer the art panel.
  • Stamp a sentiment from Beautiful You on a scrap of Whisper White using Perfect Plum ink. Cut out and layer onto Perfect Plum.
  • Emboss the Old Olive card base with the Festive TIEF.
  • Layer with a strip of Perfect Plum and matching DSP.
  • Add art panel and sentiment layer.
  • And just to pretty up the inside …..
