Around the World SU Challenges – AW35

I am trying another challenge today at Around the World Stampin’ Up! Challenges. These challenges are open to everyone, not just demonstrators. The only rule is that you create the project with Stampin’ Up! products that are not retired.

Challenge 35 is a colour combination.

AW35

I used the rose stencil from the Occasions Catalogue Artisan Embellishment Kit to sponge Chocolate Chip ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. This was layered onto Blushing Bride and then Chocolate Chip. After sponging around the base of Very Vanilla, I added the art panel on an angle towards the top of the card and placed some Blushing Bride coloured Simply Pressed Clay Blossoms along the base. Some Chocolate Chip leaves from the Bird Builder Punch complete the card.

If you are looking to kick start your mojo, why not join in these challenges. There are 2 new ones each month – on the 1st and the 15th and you then have 2 weeks to complete them.

Challenge 35 closes on 27 February 2015, so put your thinking cap on, create and upload your project to your blog or Facebook page and link to the challenge post.
