Simply Sketched Blushing Belleek

Have you ever seen the classic elegant pottery made by the Belleek Group? You can emulate the look with some subtle inks and an embossing folder. My Dare to Get Dirty Challenge card today showcases this technique which is a form of Faux Letterpress.

I applied Sahara Sand ink to the inside of the top of the Beautifully Baroque TIEF, added a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and ran it through the Big Shot. A piece of Blushing Bridge Stitched Poly Ribbon [retired] was tied around the bottom of this panel, which was then attached to a Blushing Bride base. I stamped the birthday sentiment from Simply Sketched firstly in Sahara Sand, then slightly off centre in Soft Suede to create a shadow effect. This was punched with the Large Oval Punch and layered onto Blushing Bride which was punched with the Scallop Oval Punch.
