Lucky Primrose Pirouette Stippled Blossoms

The Colour Challenge at Splitcoaststampers this week uses Lucky Limeade, Primrose Petals and Pink Pirouette. I thought it would work very well with the Sketch Challenge and my new Stippled Blossoms stamps.

I embossed the Naturals White card base with the Fancy Fan EF. The Stippled Blossoms is a two step stamp set, so I stamped the solid flower in Pink Pirouette and the outline in Primrose Petals, and added some of the outline leaves in Lucky Limeade. This was layered onto Primrose Petals. The sentiment is from Thoughts & Prayers, and I added some of the small outline leaves from the Stippled Blossoms set before punching with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. This was layered on a piece of Lucky Limeade which was cut with the Circles #2 Sizzix die.

I am loving this new set. There are more stamps in the set which I am looking forward to inking very soon. Stay tuned.

Enjoy

  1. Sorry, somehow I meant to leave the comments on this card (I liked the other one too), was SO taken with the elegance of the embossing folder (just got it from SU, their EFs are my favorites), but haven’t used it yet, and have been thinking about this set. I do have an older 2-step set that I need to ink up and play with, hmm! This is one gorgeous card, wow–such talent and artistry!

I look forward to seeing your updates, I’ve signed up for them.

Great to find your blog, and again, thanks for leaving the nice message regarding my gallery on SCS. I was a bit intimidated to upload my first cards, but people were so kind and some have been leaving me notes and comments, asking where I’ve been and why I haven’t been uploading any new cards–so I need to get at it, and miss it too. Unfortunately when I was away to help my Mom for several months, I made some cards but didn’t take any photos of them, won’t let that happen again. Made over 400 bookmarks and gave them all away and over 30 cards for my sister and a couple of birthday cards for family.

Anyway, I LOVE this card, stunning!!!

    Best wishes,

    Joanne
