Watercolor Winter Bordered Sentiment

I have a couple of clean and simple, one layer Christmas cards for you today. They have been made using the Bordered Sentiment technique from Splitcoaststampers and the now retired Watercolor Winter stamp set.

The first card is made with Whisper White card stock with the bottom edges rounded. The holly has been inked with Always Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler markers. The sentiment comes from Greetings of the Season [still available in the Holiday Carryover 2014 list].

The second card is made with Very Vanilla card stock, again with the bottom edges rounded. The pine needles were stamped with Gumball Green and the pine cones with Soft Suede. The sentiment comes from the retired Many Merry Messages.

The Bordered Sentiment technique is very simple and involves a little masking to create the effect of the sentiment being in front of the images. Just imagine the possibilities with any stamp set, not necessarily Christmas to create a set of cards quickly.
