Crayon resist is the technique I am using today. I am submitting it for this week’s Latenight Stampers Challenge 213 – Spring is in the air – use flowers. Although we are heading into autumn in this part of the world, flowers help to keep ‘spring in the air’.
The base card is Naturals Ivory, layered with Raspberry Ripple run through the Fancy Fan TIEF. Pieces of Naturals Ivory were cut with the Finishing Touches Edgelits and topped with the crayon resist image. The crayon resist uses Glossy White card stock, stamped in Stazon Jet Black with images from Creative Elements. After marking parts of the images with a crayon, Pretty in Pink and Old Olive inks were sponged over to produce the desired finish. A sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments was stamped on Naturals Ivory and cut with one of the Bitty Banners Framelits
Very pretty with a spring feel to it, don’t you think?
